Legal
Terms and Conditions
NeriMarryMe Terms and Conditions, version 2026-08, effective 28 August 2026.
This is an English translation. Only the Spanish version of these terms is legally binding. Where the two disagree, the Spanish text is what counts.
In plain language
What these terms mean for you
- We introduce you to people seeking marriage. We are not a wali and we do not arrange marriages.
- You must be 18 or older and legally free to marry.
- Every profile is reviewed by a person before anyone can see it.
- You control who sees your photos, and you can blur them at any time.
- We do not share your contact details with another Member except when both people accept an Introduction, and in line with the contact you chose to give.
- The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you their terms before charging you.
- We remove accounts that are dishonest, married without disclosure, or disrespectful.
- The law of Ajman, in the United Arab Emirates, applies, and you can always complain to us first, free of charge.
This summary is here to help. If it ever disagrees with the full text below, the full text is what counts.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by My Ummah United - F.Z.E, a Free Zone Establishment with limited liability, registered with the Free Zones Authority of Ajman under registration number 54659. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. NeriMarryMe is the name under which it operates the Service.
Our registered office is Office C1-1F-SF12173, Ajman Free Zone C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us in writing at support@nerimarryme.com, for anything concerning these terms and for everything else. We answer in Spanish and English.
These terms form a contract between you and us. You enter into it when you first tick the acceptance box or sign in, whichever happens first, and it stays in force until you close your account or we close it under section 12.
2. Definitions
A few words carry a precise meaning throughout these terms. Where a capitalised word appears below, it means exactly what this section says it means, in every clause, whether or not the surrounding sentence repeats the definition.
"The Service"
The NeriMarryMe website and applications, including profiles, introductions and any feature we add later, operated by My Ummah United - F.Z.E, registered in the Ajman Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.
"Member"
A person who has created an account, completed the intake questionnaire, and whose profile has passed review. A person on the waitlist is not yet a Member.
"Introduction"
One Member expressing interest in another, and that other accepting. On acceptance, and only then, we pass the woman's contact details, given through her wali or mahram, to the man, so that the families can continue outside the Service. An Introduction is an invitation to talk, not a recommendation to marry.
3. Eligibility
The Service exists for one purpose: helping people who genuinely intend to marry find each other in a way that respects Islamic guidelines. Because of that purpose, we ask more of our Members than a typical website would, and we check what we can. By creating an account you confirm that all of the following are true:
- You are at least 18 years old on the day you register.
-
You are legally free to marry under the law that applies to you. This means one of the following:
- you have never been married;
- you are divorced, and any legally required waiting period has passed; or
- you are widowed.
- The information you give us during intake is accurate, and you will correct it promptly if your circumstances change.
- You are creating the account for yourself. A family member may help you, but the account and the answers must be yours.
If any of these stops being true, tell us at support@nerimarryme.com so we can pause or close your account. Discovering that a Member misrepresented their marital status is the single fastest route to removal under section 12, and we do not offer refunds in that case.
4. The service we provide
We provide introductions, controls that let you decide how visible you are, and moderation of what Members report to us. A person on our team reads every profile before it is published. Conversations themselves happen outside the Service, between you and the other family, once contact details have been exchanged. That is the whole of what we do.
We are not a marriage bureau, a matchmaker in the traditional sense, or a religious authority. We do not act as a wali for any Member, we do not certify that any Member is suitable for marriage, and we do not conduct or witness marriage contracts. Decisions about whether and whom to marry are yours and your family's alone.
The Service is operated from the United Arab Emirates and is currently offered to people residing in Spain. We may make it available elsewhere later; if we do, the version of these terms published for that country will govern accounts registered there.
5. Your account
You sign in with your email address. We send a single-use code or link rather than asking you to choose a password, so the security of your account rests on the security of your inbox. Keep it to yourself, and tell us at once if you believe someone else has reached your account.
One person, one account. You may not open a second account after we have closed your first, and you may not let anyone else use yours.
You can close your account at any time by writing to support@nerimarryme.com. We remove your profile from the Service and delete it. We keep a limited record of your account for as long as the law requires us to and no longer, including the record of which version of these terms you accepted: what we keep, and why, will be set out in the Privacy Policy.
6. Profile content and review
Your profile is made of the answers you give during intake and the photographs you upload. It is yours, and you keep every right you have in it. By putting it on the Service you give us permission to show it to other Members and to store and display it for that purpose, and for no other.
A person on our team reads every profile before it goes live, and reads it again after material edits. We may ask for changes or decline to publish a profile. A profile we decline is a profile that does not meet these terms; we will tell you that it was declined, and the decision is ours to make.
- Photographs must be of you, recent, and appropriate to a place where families are looking.
- Answers must be true, including about marital status, children, and intentions.
- Contact details, links and payment requests do not belong in a profile.
7. Acceptable conduct
Members come here at a vulnerable moment, often with their families watching. Behaviour that would be unacceptable in front of someone's family is unacceptable here. The following will end your account:
- Fake accounts, impersonation, or using someone else's photographs.
- Concealing an existing marriage, or any other misrepresentation of your circumstances.
- Asking Members for money, promoting a business, or any form of fraud.
- Harassment, insults, pressure, sexual content, or contact after someone has declined.
- Spam, bulk messaging, scraping, or automated access of any kind.
- Anything illegal under the law that applies to you or to us.
This list is not exhaustive. We act on the substance of what happened, not on whether it appears above.
8. Verification and safety
You can block any Member, and you can report any Member, from their profile or from a request between you. Blocking is immediate and mutual: neither of you will see the other again. Reports go to a person on our team, who reads them.
We do not verify anyone's identity, and we do not run criminal record or background checks. Reviewing a profile means a person read what was written in it; it is not a character reference, a guarantee of honesty, or a promise that anyone is safe to meet.
Meeting someone from the Service is a decision you make outside it. Tell your family where you are going, meet in public, and stop if something feels wrong. We cannot supervise what happens away from the Service, and we do not.
9. Privacy and your data
How we handle your personal data will be set out in our Privacy Policy, published as a separate document, which will form part of your agreement with us. In short: we never sell your data, and we ask for the least we can. We do not share your contact details with another Member except when both people accept an Introduction, and in line with the contact you chose to give.
You control how much of your profile is visible, including whether your photographs are blurred until an introduction is accepted and whether your full name is shown before that moment. Those controls live in Settings and take effect immediately. We operate from the United Arab Emirates, so your information is processed there and, where the law of the country you live in requires a basis for that transfer, we rely on one. The Privacy Policy sets out which.
10. Subscriptions and payment
No paid features are active at present: while we are opening the Service by invitation, everything described here is free. This section governs what happens when paid plans begin, so that starting them does not require a new contract with you.
When paid plans begin, a subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel it. We will tell you the price and the period before you pay, we will charge the payment method you gave us, and we will never change the price of a period you have already paid for.
Prices include VAT where it applies. If a payment fails we may suspend the paid part of your access until it succeeds, without closing your account.
11. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time, from Settings, in one step. Cancelling stops the next renewal and nothing else: you keep everything you paid for until the end of the period you are in.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the consumer law of your country gives you fourteen days from the start of a subscription to withdraw from it and be refunded, and we honour that right wherever it applies to you. If you ask us to give you access immediately, and you then withdraw, we may keep a proportionate amount for the days you used. The right does not apply where you have already used the subscription in full.
We do not refund periods already used, and we do not refund an account closed for a breach of section 7.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is serious, and in particular where it puts another Member at risk, we act immediately and without warning.
We will tell you that the account has been closed. We will not always tell you what led to it: naming the report that reached us can identify the person who made it, and protecting them comes first.
If you believe we got it wrong, write to support@nerimarryme.com and we will look at the decision again. We answer every appeal.
13. Our liability
We provide introductions. We do not promise that you will receive one, that anyone will reply, or that anything will come of it, and we do not promise that the Service will be available without interruption.
Members write their own profiles. We review them, but we cannot know that what someone tells us is true, and we are not responsible for what a Member says or does, on the Service or away from it.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. Where the consumer law of the country you live in gives you rights that cannot be signed away, those rights stand, and nothing here tries to take them from you.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws applicable in the Emirate of Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The courts of Ajman have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to you as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
Come to us first. Write to support@nerimarryme.com and we will answer, free of charge and without undue delay. Most things end there.
Choosing Ajman law does not take away the protection of rules that apply to you anyway. If the law of the country you live in gives you mandatory consumer rights, you keep them, and you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
15. Changes and how to reach us
We may change these terms. When we do, we publish a new version with its own number and effective date, and we keep the old one available so you can read what you agreed to.
For a change that materially affects your rights we will tell you before it takes effect and, where it matters enough, ask you to accept the new version. Changes never apply retroactively, and a change you do not accept means you may ask us to close your account and, if you had paid, be refunded the part of the period you will not use.
Write to us at support@nerimarryme.com. It is the fastest way to reach a person, and the only one we can promise to answer.
